Kellie Stokes receives Jenkins Fellowship from NASA

Kellie Stokes, a Ph.D. candidate with the Urbanization & Global Change Group, has been awarded the prestigious Harriet G. Jenkins Graduate Fellowship from NASA. Kellie’s research focuses on how urban built environments and spatial form contribute to resource use in urban and periurban areas around the world. The Jenkins Fellowship will support her graduate research in the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.  Kellie recently completed a summer internship at NASA which allowed her to work with imagery from the recently launched VIIRS satellite.
