Lab receives $1.3m NASA grant

The Urbanization & Global Change Group has received a $1.3m grant from NASA’s Land-Cover/Land-Use Change Program, funding a three-year study of urban cluster development in China and India. Under the grant, the lab will be able to analyze major drivers of cluster growth and develop empirical models of future growth in both countries. Project collaborators include scientists at TERI University in Delhi, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, and four U.S. universities. Collaborators with the lab include  Peter Christensen, Li Jiang, Donghwan Kim, Qingling Zhang, and Qian Zhang.
