Research Interests

My academic background is in built environments, resource governance, and political geography. Since beginning work in the lab in in July 2013, my main objectives have been: 1) to describe the spatial and economic effects of infrastructure spending on urban growth in India, and 2) to compare the forms and spatial patterns of growth in Indian cities. Both projects use a mix of economic indicators, ground-truthing, and spatial analysis techniques.
