Rohan Simkin

My dissertation research focuses on understanding the impacts of rapid urbanization on biodiversity at the global scale. I aim to understand the role of urbanization as a driver of habitat loss and fragmentation, not only to understand the implications for Earth's biota, but also to understand the likely outcomes of declining biodiversity for human wellbeing.
